Film 02: City of Wind

As you already know, I have a keen interest in the contemporary arts in Mongolia. I usually don’t on-post, but this recent news bulletin translated into English by Myagmarsuren Erdenebaatar is an exception. This year (2024) contemporary Mongolian-in-Mongolia film makers have entered and been recognised as winners in a number of international film festivals. Congratulations!

Following the voting results, actor B. Tergel emerged as the winner of the “Best Newcomer” award for his compelling performance in “City of Wind.”

“City of Wind” marks the directorial debut of P. Lkhagvadulam and is the first full-length feature film produced with partial funding from the Cinematography Support Fund of the Ministry of Culture of Mongolia.
